Venue of the Month – February – The Old Town Pub

When you think of some of the best places to get an authentic taste of Steamboat the Old Town Pub should be on top of your list.  Not only can you get about the best burger in town, it’s a great place to host any type of private party whether it be a rehearsal dinner, a bachelor party or bridal shower.  The bright and spacious dining room also has ample space for live music with a stage area, where the Pub regularly hosts superior live music.  My husband, John, who now runs a successful music empire (promoter, agent and talent buyer) has a photo in his office of himself and Stevie Nicks on the steps of the Pub after she played an unannounced show with Mic Fleetwood in the late 1980’s.  The Old Town Pub has a long history of hosting extraordinary musicalhappenings!  More recently the Pub has hosted musical acts including String Board Theory, The Luv Brothers and Dave Gerard.
In addition to top quality entertainment, the upscale American style menu offers everything from creative salads to hefty plates like a 12oz New York strip steak.  As a true foodie, I really appreciate the wild line caught sockeye salmon.  Don’t miss the plethora of desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth, and parents, this place is very kid friendly!
The Old Town Pub is an ideal venue for both visitors and locals alike to stop in for lunch, dinner, a cocktail or a night on the town.
I am thrilled to be partnering a great promotion this month at The Old Town Pub.  As a gift to 2010 Brides and Grooms The Main Event will be at the Pub this Thursday, February 18th and next Thursday, February 25th offering free event planning advice.  So please come by from 1:30pm – 2:30pm and meet me, check out the Pub and consider it for your next special event.
