Fall Mountain Wedding

Katie and Stephen are surely in love!  You can just tell by the look in their eyes!  Andy and Emily Barnhart did such a great job capturing the emotion of the day with their beautiful photography.  It turned out to be a very interesting day weather wise, with a perfect break in the clouds right at the ceremony time.  Later we enjoyed a bit of a light show from Mother Nature herself!  The food at Hazies was fantastic!   We selected a milk poached halibut and beef tenderlion plus many yummy appetizers including petite beef wellington.  In addition to the cake, we had a selection of mini-cupcakes with the couples monogram on them as well as a signature chocolate martini served during the dancing.  We put together a special band from Denver and Boulder just for the bride and they played live for the ceremony and throughout dinner.  Everyone had a great time cutting it up on the dance floor with tunes from Stevie Wonder to Dave Mathews.   I had a wonderful time planning this wedding and getting to know the the brides’ family.  Making those special connections is why I love being a wedding planner at The Main Event!
