If your significant other is someone who is hard to surprise, here is a creative and unexpected way to ask for her hand in marriage.  Have a champagne themed picnic.

Head out to a local park or the botanical gardens and at the end of your picnic pop the question and cut open the cupcake!  Don’t forget to enjoy your dessert and have some champagne on hand too!
