Catherine & Danny

Catherine was a dream bride not only because of her incredible beauty, poise and relaxed personality; but also because she came to me with a distinct vision.  I really appreciate when a bride knows what she wants on her wedding day.  It also makes my job as a planner much easier to have a bride who is a great decision maker.  Catherine was all this and more!  It was a true delight to work with her and Danny and make their wedding vision a reality.  Seeing Catherine’s expression when she walked into the ballroom was worth every moment of planning, desiging and preparing!  (See the photo below!) The classic church wedding was followed by a dreamy  ballroom reception where we draped the ceilings with a fine gossamer fabric, hung an entire wall of silky grey drape from floor to ceiling and topped it with some light enhancing floating mirrors over the dessert bar which featured a selection of  cupcakes, a deconstructed three tier cake and a candy bar!  Chandeliers were hung over the dance floor for extra ambiance and sparkle.  Special thanks to The Sheraton Resort for all their help installing the decor, Mountain Brew for the delicious cupcakes, The Main Event staff for planning and orchestrating a perfect day and Andy Barnhart for the gorgeous photos you can admire below!
